No, just drive according to the conditions on the road, and the type of tyres you have. |

Without wanting to sound rude, suggest you go on a Land Rover Experience (or similar) event to get some off road driver training..! |

It to show which way your tyres are turned. Basically if your going down a muddy slope/rut and you have been trying to brake using the sidewalls on the rut sides you could have come to a stop with your wheels point in any old direction, this is to let you know which way your pointing, so when you then apply the gas your cars going to go in the direction its showing you, not the direction you think it would Sure somebody has another explanation which might make more sense , but that's why it there, its in other programs too |

Not meaning to hijack the original - but this is kinda linked - snow program has been great - but can you change back to normal whilst in motion? 2 times I have used it - and gone back to normal - I have lost all power when in gear - it has needed me to restart the car and then all works fine again.....any ideas?? |

Have had no problems tonight driving 90 odd miles on snow bound motorways at up to 50mph in GGS and then switched back to normal highway mode. The damping sensation of the remapped ECU takes a bit of getting used to as you seem to have to push the gas pedal an awful long way before anything seems to happen, but it worked faultlessly when changing back and forth between GGS and highway/normal mode. I didn't need Low box at all, in fact I think you would have to be really stuck to need to use Low box in snow, I appreciate that offroad on grass and gravel then yes Low Box would be a must.

You can switch between the various special programs whilst driving and even high/low range (low speed), you must have a problem MY10 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Zermatt Silver, 20" Diamond Turned Alloys, Factory Privacy Glass, Premium Leather, Contrast Stiching, Side Steps, Etc

Ash I wouldn't try changing from Hi to Lo box at anything above 15mph, I think you would leave a lot of cogs on the road under the car! I think the electronics won't allow you to shift Hi to Lo anyway above 15mph.
