Its Alpaca NOT Ivory!!

I picked up our 2007 TDV8 on Monday and always thought the interior a bit orange. Having Googled this morning I am convinced it has the Alpaca interior and not Ivory as advertised. Also it has Ebony carpets and not Aspen as advertised too! Crying or Very sad

Any idea, firstly where I can find out the official colours from - presumably a LR dealer armed with the VIN and secondly am I right in thinking cos its not as advertised I could refund/exchange it?

Any help greatly appreciated.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Did you buy the car unseen Bradders?

According to my 2007 brochures you could have had the Stornoway Grey TDv8 HSE with Ivory leather or Alpacca leather, both had Ebony carpets. Ivory was also available with Aspen carpets but not Alpacca with Aspen carpets 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I did see the car before buying it and questioned the sales guy about the colours after you tipped me off. As it came from an Audi dealer our dog knew more about it. The sales blurb says Aspen and Ivory and i wanted Ivory but it turns out it is Alpacca which is much more orange - especially the lower part of the dash.

Call Jeremy at CHPR tomorrow and ask him to DDW it. This will confirm the colour. If it's more vanilla than White then it's alpacca. I'm off for a few days at the moment and know he's busy tomorrow before we close at
2pm but hopefully you'll catch him, if not I'm in on Tues.

James Thumbs Up

Thanks James - Ive just checked the VIN with my local dealer and its Alpaca! Spoken to the Audi Dealer who sold it and the sales manager is speaking with the general manager on tuesday. No doubt they will offer me something like a free service but I'd like it exchanging. Watch this space! What a load of Censored
