Mcaffee has problems if you are running Windows 7.
It does not protect you fully.

Norton Internet Security 2010 has much lower system overheads than
previous versions, so should not have such an impact on system performance.

Kaspersky - never used it myself but have never heard anything negative about it. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

- Works for me.

Slim, not resource hungry as I found AVG to be and includes spyware.

I also use Kasperski IS, but beware, there is an incompatibility between Kasperski and the just released Thunderbird 3.0,
There are some workarounds, but they partly disable the antivirus, so I went back to Thunderbird 2.0 waiting for an update from either one that solves the issue. '08 RRS TDV8

I'd grab the cd image and stick it onto a memory stick or external hdd - then copy that to the netbook and install from the HDD! Should work fine that way if you have a memory stick or External hdd big enough. If not just share it across your network if you can. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award
