I see on LR website that the new 3.0 TDV6 HSE does come with it, but would like to know if this was also part o fthe HSE package for '07 and '08 cars.

I believe it was standard on the TDV8 but not on the TDV6.

According to the UK brochures it was an option here on '07 /'08 TdV6 S and SE models and standard on HSE and TdV8.

If you want to know if it is fitted, open the bonnet and if there is an oil reservoir on its own to the side of the radiator that is the Dynamic Response reservoir. No reservoir means no DR. (Right Hand Drive shown below)

Thanks for the clear answer, now at least I know how to detect it.

Have checked it, and for the Belgium market the DR was not part of the HSE package, only now with the 3.0 it has become.
