It seems mad that that works out to be 4K cheaper considering that it takes a trip across the North Sea........the world has gone mad Shocked

So did you source yours direct from the delaer in Holland or is it through an import company?

Do you also get the full 3 year warranty or is it a 2 year affair?

What about LR assistance etc? Currently: Carbon Black 535d

Bobby, absolutely excellent news on your car, the wait will be worth it.

It may interest you to know that recently I have done many trips up and down the M40 motorway here in the UK, and seems to be the main route for LR transporters, as they come out of Gaydon. I still see 1st Edition cars, brand new on some of these trailers. Bizarre! L319 D4 HSE

How do you get on with the resale value Jaymann?

I take it that you sell your vehicles privately, do you have to tell the prospective purchaser that the vehicle is an import?

To be honest I looked at buying my RRS as an import, I could have saved almost 5k on a TDv6 HSE. but i was talked out of it when I found that the potential resale / part ex would drop accordingly in the future.

I imagine that you will get some sort of warranty registration form or similar when you take reciept of the car.....maybe worth digging around with LR customer services to check that you do get full LR Assistance - they even come out to change your tyres if need be Shocked

I would never use this facility obviously being a very manly, mans man Whistle Currently: Carbon Black 535d

Many thanks RRUK.

I'm sure the 1st Edition is still rolling out the factory. However, my 1st Edition, I'm told, has been sitting in the LRUK warehouse for about a year. This will mean I will inherit all the initial gremlins etc. Evil or Very Mad , which would have been ironed out if I was to receive the latest 06 model.

Will have to actually get the car to know the real story. Keeping my fingers crossed that this time its for real. Laughing Laughing Malaysia Boleh!
