Carried a few onboard the ship but never done it myself but I remember a member here imported an AC Cobra a couple of years back. It's supposedly a very easy and simple thing to do Adrian. Some of the UK motoring magazines have done items on brining the latest Mustangs into the UK and they seem to have had no problems using an agent in Baltimore. The specialist shipping company for this is a group called Walenius Wilhelmsen who operate weekly car carrier services to Europe and the far east out of several ports on the East Coast and gulf ports of the USA. Takes about 10 days - two weeks to get the car from the USA to Europe, port to port

Depends on whethere you are talking a personel import or something commercial which would have a huge effect on the taxes paid on import.

I imported my RRS from the US. A friend of mine does imports from the US both new and second hand cars, so he has done it for me.
