Can i swap my existing steering wheel for a heated one ?.

Hi all

My existing steering wheel in my 2005 S/C is tatty to say the least so i will be changing it for the 2009 "smooth leather" one. Can i change it for a heated one whilst i'm on or will it be a different loom connection ?.

Sorry if this has been asked before, i did search but didn't find the answer.

Carl

My understanding is it aint cheap. You need to have a heated clock spring to begin with? That is a pretty pricey part. Well worth it though, a friend has it and i have been jealous as hell over the past few days

That looks great, my frozen little pinkies are twitching at the thought of it!

How much did it cost you in total to do?

Carlos, can't remember cost, don't even know if it is available for RRS as it was an option on 09MY D3s. Contact Nick at Yeovil LR for availability. Don't know techie details as DIY for me stands for Destroy it Yourself!

Bell autos defo offer this option as i was in discussions about having out on my sport. Understanding is a new heated steering wheel, switches and a heat able clock spring (expensive). Cant remember but a figure of around 600-700 springs to mind
