Water in Fuel

Hi All,

Been searching forum re intermittent "Water in Fuel" error message - see problem has happened to others. Couple of months ago error appeared on and off at various times, irrespective of amount of diesel in tank. Booked in to have fault looked at when overtaken by having to call out LR assist as unable to unlock any doors! LR assist transported to LR Kendal - replaced battery, doors ok and then no further error messages....all well until today when "Water in Fuel" error message returned. Booked into LR Coniston next Monday morning, but question is are the 2 issues likely to be connected or was I just unlucky - am concerned about having door unlocking problem (well wife is!) before next week! FYI, 2008 TDV8

Do you know that you can get in manually if the car won't unlock - passenger door, key in slot beneath cap on the RHS which removes to expose a normal lock IIRC

Not ideal but useful in emergency
