"Sport" drive/gear

Read the manual and it's not 100% clear. So let me ask you.

Can we keep the RRS on Sport all the time (assuming we don't go beyond, say, 140 km/hr).

Yes you can keep it on all the time on the road. But expect the mpg to decrease accordingly. I tend to use it when I feel the urge and once attaining the speed I want slip it back over to Drive to improve the mpg. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

You can leave it in command shift all the time when driving, at any speed, but you have to select neutral/park and reverse in normal mode

I tend to use C/S in traffic as you can get it in to top gear quicker than in auto mode, hence saving fuel, also when overtaking and i want to be in a lower gear prior to flooring the pedal Thumbs Up some of my Previous cars

I used a company called Collins performance engineering in Congleton Cheshire, it cost me £411.00 i think, but check with who ever that if they do it are they prepared to re do it if it gets wiped off by the main dealer when the car goes in for ECU up grades, mine got wiped clean and it cost me another £175.0 to get it re done.
the increase in power is about 50HP,

I had mine done before reading this website, if i had of read it first i would of probably used JE or Turbo chips. some of my Previous cars

If the take off speed is your main concern MAW, try sticking your Terrain Response into Sand Mode before take off. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.
