United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Buckingham Blue
HSE with SC Exhaust as standard????

I went over to the LR dealer yesterday to take a look at the new models and they had a 06 RRS HSE at the lot with the transportation covers still around them; Nothing surprising however, the car was equipped with the SC chrome tips. The sales rep i was talking to said that they received the car like that and that it was not a special or aftermarket order... Interesting.. Do you think that LR has taken all the HSE mods serious and starts equipping their new RRS's with the chrome tips from now on? That'd be good... - Robert

Or it's a famous Land Rover manufacturing mistake. Cool

Another change I noticed whilst in the dealer - the 06 D3's have picked up the RRS rear headrests......mine are similar to those in the front (all though they do extend whereas the fronts are fixed) Currently: Carbon Black 535d

The only difference for Disco 3/LR3 is between 5-seat and 7-seat configs: 65/35 split folding vs. 35/30/35 flat folding. They have different head restraints. I'm guessing you saw 2006 5-seat Disco 3; a 2005 5-seat would look the same.

Very odd. No 2006s here are any different. Mistake? Very Happy I'm not sure the seats could fold flat very well using the alternate design.

May well be a mistake - I did do a double take. If the car is still there when we go back I will check out how they fold....... Currently: Carbon Black 535d
