Is Top Gear getting too ridiculous?

As much as I still enjoy Top Gear immensly, I found myself watching it last night a bit annoyed at all the scripted nonsense which they play off as if it has hilariously occured at random.

It is becomming a bit of a soap opera.....

Are we really to believe that they hadn't sought permission in advance to drive through those tunnels under the people's palace and that 3 well paid celebrities really slept in tiny cars in front of a dam they didn't know was there?

I prefered it when they got into real situations, the scripted schenanigans have gone a bit OTT for me.

Am I picking at a top class programme or do I have a point? You decide........

And on that bombshell.........

No Sky at the moment so missed at! Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

Still, watched the Romania trip on YouTube and although I really enjoyed it, I agree with the scripted bit.

Still think the USA trip was one of the finest moments after having decorated each others cars and.....

I agree you can tell its heavyley scripted and they know whats going to happen

But still i laughed at Mays face when the truck reversed in to his new Dacia Sandaros(sp?)

Its not like the dam wasn't lit up in their headlights when parking up for the night..... but how else can a motoring program gawp at a huge dam Laughing

That road at the end looked great Very Happy

Also good to have a BBC HD program worth watching Cool
