Quick fix for hybrid tv on the move MY2010 RRS

(Info from Wiggs on sister site disco3.co.uk)

While not had time to delve into the CCF files on my new G4 yet ,to find a fix for tv on the move ( if at all possible ) I have found a quick fix , not ideal ...but at least it can be watched on the move ( for the H&S freeks out there ..i mean my passenger or dog can )

Simply choose your chosen channel on the tv , go back to the main page with the tv icon . Go into the diagnostic mode and press the TV box .

Tv will then stay on as long as the key is in the ignition . Once you lock up the car , you would have to do it again . Dosent take long and at least it works .

You might have to press the pal / ntsc / zoom buttons to get the picture you want . 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

1) Turn the key to position II and acknowledge the Navigation "lawyer disclaimer" by pressing "AGREE"
2) Make sure you are in Navigation mode. (Press the Navigation hard button, for example.)
3) Press "Home" on the Touchscreen.
4) In the center of the top of the Touchscreen, press the screen for 5 seconds. (It's an "invisible button.")
5) A diag PIN entry prompt will appear: Enter 753 on the Touchscreen and press "OK"

?

I had the tv channel on, playing, then went to navigation, pressed agree, pressed "Home" (the picture of a house), pressed in the top centre of screen for 5 secs, typed in 753, then went back to menu, pressed tv, put into drive, and tv went off.....

where did I go wrong?
