Baron, got mine from TireRack.com. Looks like they still have them and in stock. Also, before they were available in the US they were in the UK and I was talking to a gentlemen at BlackCircles.com about possibly shipping a set over to the states for me but it was a bit too much to do. Looks like they have them as well, but you have to search for them. Put in the 255/55R19 size and select 'S' for the speed rating, and it looks like they are the only tire that shows up.

Have you tried the forum sponsor AJS Tyres Baron. I have a nearly new set now as well as the winter tyres and the standard 20's ................................. add them to the 3 extra sets of tyres for my 90 and you can see why I have no room in the garage for either car!

That's news to me Tim... I wish, but I can't find any other tire manufacturer anywhere that makes 19" A/T or M/T tires, other than these GY MTRs and the "tamer" Pirelli Scorpion ATRs.
The M+S symbol means very little... Many all-season and off-road tires have those letters stamped on their sidewall, but that doesn't guarantee they will be any more than passable over snow or mud. "Real" studded or studless snow tires - those that would probably be accepted in lieu of chain on 2-wheel drive vehicles at checkpoints - have a mountain / snowflake symbol to identify them, at least here in North America. With a capable 4x4 like the Sport fitted with all-season or all-terrain tires, usually they waive you through at snow chain checkpoints here, unless road conditions are particularly dangerous. |

Grazie Umberto and Diamond, I asked this because it seemed ridiculous to have 3 sets of tires... but I think I'll do so in any case. Thanks. |

Been using MTRs on a D3 in this mild winter the weather bods forecast, great in temps down to -18c and snow up to 18", beyond they I chickened out. Outstanding tyre in snow, slush, frozen slush.
