Nice to see how much you know about me, the good old map has never failed to find my destination whereas the premium sat nav cannot locate streets that you end up on Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

you done a great job, in just 4 posts, of coming across as a bit of a dick

the only thing wrong with the sat nav, in my humble opinion, is the very stupid way it calculates time left to destination, which has been discussed previously

as for preferring a map... well.....................

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Stornoway Grey

Oh well....................

Tried the system yesterday and yet again it failed to perform its job properly. Put the destinations in and it again tried all the wrong roads and I mean wrong roads, 204 miles to do a 130 mile journey is not right. I changed all of the settings and recalculated many times and everytime it was way out.

After about half an hour the system crashed totally and when I arrived at my destination I had to disconnect the battery to get the system to work again. This has happened before and is not satisfactory.

I have booked the car in with the 'top quality' dealer tomorrow for them to look at, along with curing the defects they caused last time they had the car. It amazes me that you spend £60k for a car and the dealer does not care about your property and that LR cannot supply a suspension system that works.

Bought British built to support the UK economy but would I buy another........probably not. "Quality remains long after the price is forgotten" Charles Stuart Rolls, very true statement and a pity people are not interested to achieve a quality product and service.

So the map remains my companion, if you can read a map you will never end up lost and my experience of LR satnav. shows its better for the enviornment too Laughing
