South Africa 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White
Questions to the new my2010 owners (i.e. the lucky ones)

I ordered a 2010 SC on Thursday. Delivery is only expected to be during February 2010. This is the first time I am prepared to wait for a new vehicle and it’s going to be a long one at that.

I’ve not seen the SC in real life yet – only V8 Diesels in showrooms in my area here in SA.

I was surprised to see that the navigation instructions and MP3 song details are not displayed in the instrument panel as is the case with Audis e.g. But I’ve found this on the forum : “from sept 2009 production has new ip (binnacle) display showing turn by turn navigation commands and MP3 CD track info”. Anyone received a 2010 model yet which does this?

And to the guys who’ve previously had the 4.2 SC and now own the 2010 5.0 SC - care to comment (PLEASE) on the differences between the two versions (performance, ride comfort, handling and interior noise).
Because a fair amount of my driving is done on dirt roads, I replaced the 20” rims of my 4.2 with 19” Land Rover rims with higher profile tyres. It seems that I won’t be able to do this with the 5.00, as anything smaller than a 20” rim will not fit round the new Brembos – is this correct?

Land Rover tell us in their media releases that a lot have been done to the dynamic response part of the suspension. Are these changes noticeable to the naked eye and is there any hope that they cured the knocking noise issues we have been suffering from? 2010 Sport Supercharged with all options apart from TV and Extended leather (wish I had the latter) (Previously 2007 RRS S/C)
