LIMP HOME MODE

Sad My RRS has twice gone on to limp home mode. The car is three years old and has done 70,000 miles. Anyone else had experience of this problem? Diagnostic guy says dont let fuel go below half tank as "swill" can happen going round corners causing fuel starvation! I thought Range Rovers could go up mountains! Big Cry

haaaaaaaaaaa thats a load of poop, i wouldnt be able to pass a petrol station in mine if that was the case. If that is the prolem then there is a route cause ie a faulty sender unit, pickup, fuel pump etc etc not just "oh yeah keep your tank half full..........these Range Rovers eh!"

Tell him hes a bawbag and take it to someone who has a clue Thumbs Up

It's a common problem - cure will probably be new/cleans valves. It's always the EGR valves!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

Thanks guys, suspect EGR valves might be the culprit. Have just had them done so could be faulty or botched job. Fault happened again today and engine fault flagged up briefly on display. Will investigate further. TA!
