Managed to get Windows 7 Ultimate on the 8th October, did a clean installation from 32MB Vista Ultimate to the 64MB version of 7 Ultimate. The speed increase is superb, also seems to be a lot less cluttered. The compatibility mode means that programs that didn't work with Vista or XP now may work again - so far 3 programs that didnt work now do. |

Windows 7 is what Vista should have been and unusually for a new MS OS it's actually pretty solid too.
