TV Tuner to RRS 4.2S?

Hi

I've seen a couple of old threads on here but none seemed to fully answer the question.

I have a 4.2S early 2007, and DON'T have the rear screens, etc. Is it possible to retrofit the facility to watch TV on the SatNav screen?

If so, does it work like a factory option, or is it some kind of additional after market controller, etc?

Yes it is possible, try NAV-TV.co.uk or Try some Essex car audio specialists they have an ALPINE DVB unit with integration to the front NAV screen, allowing Tv on move. NAV-TV allows the full factory look. Hope this helps. A bit on the pricey side for their unit but well worth the effort. Thumbs Up

Yep, to clarify - you can't (easily) retrofit the actual factory system, but there are plenty of third party options as RL says Very Happy

Thanks Guys

I've looked at NAV-TV.co.uk and can't work out exactly which product I need. They seem to be an interface / harness for a tuner, rather than the tuner itself.

Sorry if I'm being thick! Any chance of some pointers?

The NavTV unit (as I understand it) isn't a whole system, it's just an interface to allow TV/DVD etc on the nav screen.... I think you would need further parts to deliver the whole experience, but I'm no AV guru Confused
