United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
What is supposed to be attached here?

TDV8 engine - noticed this threaded stud after finding my dipstick loose and wondered if anyone had anything attached here on a TDV8 or is it just a common part and maybe used on TDV6?

It sits left of centre just in front of the engine acoustic cover:

I think it's one of the points used to attach an engine hoist - when lifting out / putting back the engine.

Belgium 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Buckingham Blue

I have a braket attached to the middle hole on that braket, it supports a cable bundle going down the front of the engine past the altenator. will get a pic when I'm home this evening Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh
