iPhone 3GS - voice echo

I had the PTI module updated to the latest version + software earlier this year and managed to get phone book sync with my Nokia E71.

I've recently changed to an iPhone 3GS and it still syncs fine, however, the people I call or call me often complain about them hearing an echo of their own voice (which is clearly pretty annoying)

Anyone else experienced or got any idea how to resolve?

Thanks

when i have my iPhone 3Gs connected I don't get any feedback from people saying they hear an echo, but then my car is a FL2

I have noticed the volume control on the phones side, when pressed says bluetooth volume on the screen, so might be something to look at Thumbs Up

Have your tried un-pairing and repairing to see if that cures it Thumbs Up

Jambo is spot on. I've got a 3Gs (although the issue existed on my 3g and 2g). Make sure the iPhone volume is on max using the volume switch on the top left side of the phone then adjust the PTI volume using either the steering wheel or radio volume controls. You need to do this whilst on a call, but if you don't accidently change it then it will be fine going forward.

So in summary.... iPhone max volume and PTI as low volume as you can accept and you should be fine.

PS Nick - Just noticed Club CHPR....... Like the idea of that! Wink
