How much gas need a RRS SC?

Yes, I know. If you drive a RRS SC you aren't interested in gas consumption.
Land Rover says the SC needs 17l/100km. In the internets it's written the RRS use more than 22l/100km. Is that true? How much do you use?

You will most likely be somewhere in the middle, the S/C goes anywhere between 10 and 15 miles with a US gallon (3.875 liters) on mixed city/highway for most owners here in the US. Your driving style and what streets or highways you drive make a big difference.

I am running a S/C FFRR at the moment as our diesel RRS is in the garage having accident damage repaired. We are getting 15MPG with mixed driving in town and on dual carriageway. We are now very friendly with our petrol station.

15MPG is not so much. I thinks that's "okay". So you at the gas station all week?

You can get it into single figures without trying too hard Wink

But I think the best you'll see with motorway only usage is about 18mpg.

The tank lasts about 400 miles and costs £80 to £90 to fill up. Haven't been on a long run on a motorway yet hopefully will get chance to do that on the weekend.

Our Diesel RRS usually gets mid 20 MPG with around town and dual carriageway driving, usually get 450ish miles out of a tank and costs about £70 to fill. On a decent Motorway run we get 30 to 33 MPG and over 500 miles out of a tank.

my personal record was 15.5 litres/100km driving slowly long distance. On a daily use I drive mixed city/out of town and consume 18-20 litres with easy driving. if I press hard it consumes about 22 litres My name: Patryk

I get between 280-320 miles from a tank on my daily commute and traffic ridden drive. Its currently returning about 17.2mpg. On long motorway runs I have had well over 400miles from a tank with an average in the low-mid 20's. All depends how you drive. But you cant drive one of these cars economically. Its too boring...

Mate I have a TDV8 RRS and am getting around 11l.5/100km on mixed roads. With our FFRR TDV8 I am in the same region +- 0.5l/100km. And with the FFRR SC I am usualy 4l/100km above so get about 15-16l/100km, which to me is not bad...

Tim was telling me he read a test report on the new 5.0l S/C and over the test they averaged 5mpg or 56l/100km Shocked

My TDV8 normally gets around 10.6l/100km around town, on long runs it is 9.4l/100km with a best ever of 7.2l/100km Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh
