Must admit I can't see the point of turning your pre-2010 into a 2010 lookalike... doing the grille or the lights independently is fair enough if they look better, but I can't imagine doing what that chap on the L322 site has done is cheap or adds any value come to that... but each to their own Whistle Thumbs Up

Agreed Schmoogle,

not for me either, I don't think the full conversion would add value. You've got to recoup the layout for the conversion as well.
But I can understand an owner of an early car, doing the conversion if their budget can't stretch to a later or latest model.

Think it could be a can of worms, LR reliability can be 'challenging' especially electrics, doing a conversion that involves rejigging some of the wiring could be asking for trouble. Whistle

Then again, it might correct the standard wirings' characteristics. Wink

I saw a 2003 FFRR converted to 2010MY spec, on the outside anyway..................

You could not tell the difference until you peered inside, it looked very well done, but you somehow have to question, why? Aesthetically spot on, but a waste of money, absolutely unless you plan to keep the car until it's death. we fitted the new 2010 sport LED rear lights today and have them working 100% correctly, we have a vehicle in for a full 2010 upgrade with the 20" polished hst wheels amongst a few other upgrades, the headlights are thankfully less complicated than the vogue headlights and we are working on the pdc sensors tomorrow, the vehcile will then go to our bodyshop for the upgrade, we worked on the lights first etc as we needed to make sure we could make them function correctly before changing front wings etc, a grey area at present is whether or not the afs feature will work on the new headlights with earleir cars, the AFS feature does not work on the vogues due to it being less advanced as the sport we believe, once finished i will aim to post up some pictures. As long as your alright

I still say the pre MY2010 looks better from the outside. Perhaps DCC4X4 you could offer a conversion for MY2010 to MY2009 Laughing
