Hankook 275/40/20 tyres - Ventos RH06 106W XL

About to buy a set of 4 for the TDV8.

Some of the online retailers boast that the Hankook they sell comes with M&S markings and Rim protection. Others do not mention it.

Are there different versions in the marketplace? Or is there just one. Can anyone who has fitted the Hankook could advise of the sidewall text on the tyre.

Bye bye Contis.
Tx!

Not sure if this helps, but have a look at the Hankook website.

It shows the Ventus ST as having M&S and XL - which I think means reinforced sidewall.

If you check that it's Ventus ST and not Ventus S1 evoA, think you should be fine.

I just fitted a full set of Hankook RH 06 - 255/50R19 107W XL TL.

They are quiet and have a nice tread pattern, all in all quite impressed so far.

Ordered online, delivered for £10, fitted locally.

What has Marks & Spencer got to do with tyres?

Jonny

These aren't just tyres - These are M&S tyres. Laughing

As for S & M tyres, think they must be the Contis Whistle

M+S, or M&S denotes Mud and Snow

Coko I was being funny (or maybe not) haven't you seen the Marks & Spencer adverts? Embarassed

S&M being sado masochistic - you need to be to run Contis, as I do. Wink

See my earlier post for advice I offered to original poster, I was referring to the XL as being reinforced sidewall.
I'd assumed he knew what M&S was. Thumbs Up

I have been to Marks & Spencer - Laughing

Well somewhere else really. Set of 4 Hankooks cost me £380 delivered to my home.

Turns out there is only one type in the market and it comes with rim protection and M&S markings.

Will let everyone know how I fare once they are fitted to the RRS and have done 500 miles or so.

Cheers all.

Think the M&S jokes are a bit tyred now Wink

Let us know how you get on with them, I'll be needing a new set soon. Seem good value at these prices.

And Coko, I don't think it has anything to do with you being a foriegner, just my jokes aren't that funny(especially if you haven't seen the advert). Thumbs Up
