Crystal Ball.......

Hi Guys,

I was on the brink of purchasing 2 year old RRS 2.7 HSE but after driving the HSE 3.0 2010 model Im going to hold on and hopefully pick one of these up second hand in 6 to 9 months. What sort of price do you think Im going to be looking at?

Thanks in advance.

In Italy for this sort of car, after 1 year, you will pay just 20% less, which is VAT. My gallery: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=994

when I was just purchasing - a BMW X5 new was 51k, after 8 months it was 45k. So guess Range Rover still the same BUT vat is still applicable (I think) and this is going up in January.

Who knows? They are selling v well, agree that the 2010my is the way to go. IMHO this is a great time to buy, LR are lending nearly £20k for free with their APP which will get you in a new RRS with just tye money you have for a '07 HSE. 2010MY Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE

In the old days franchised dealers would change their demo's at 90 days, however as there is a shortage they will hang on to them (probably) until the maximum that we are allowed which is 180 days (6 months).

If you read the press then a used one will be £2k more in 6 months, however a serious answer would be late £40k's for an HSE as most demo's are well spec'd and you'd struggle to find a private owner selling after 6-9 months as it doesn't make much sense financially.

As mentioned above, put your 2.7 money into a 0% APP deal and save for the balloon at the end of the term and you'll win both ways. 0% finance is probably as valuable on paper as a £3k saving on a demo????

Food for thought.
