Just had confirmation that my order will be at the dealers w/c 12th October - with camera system included.

Good news bradders, I take it you will be making sure you carry out an extra special check at handover.

Like checking every single one is fitted and all work, especially the Zoom function. Use an approapriately dressed young lady to check it works properly a few times.

On that point, does the camera system have an option of saving the images to file. That could prove handy for the voyeurs amongst us.

so what is this 360 camera? like a reversing camera but front rear left and right? 4 cameras and a 4 way spilt screen?

Nice vids, but just raises one Q for me...

...day to day, aren't you going to have to repeatedly clean the cameras of road grime, especially in the winter?

Not a real hardship really, but I suppose they don't have rotating lens covers like i've seen on F1 in car cams where the rotating of the cover means it's self cleaning Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award

I presumed the first link is LR's instructional video of how to wash the lenses - at least the one on the front

We last weekend ordered a factory build RRS to be picked up on the 1st of March, when we built the car with the dealer we heard the same thing from them, also was at the boat show and as LR had a stand there they showed us a RRS with the camera's but explained they could not provide this in the build due to the company / supplier going out of businesses.
