Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Autobiography Stornoway Grey
2months in

Just wanted to put my impressions of my 1st RRS onto "paper" so to speak now im 2 months and over 4kmiles(ALREADY!!) with it.

To be honest Im wondering why I overlooked the LR marque in general for the last few years really. (If Deb reads this then YES I KNOW YOU TOLD ME!!! Rolling Eyes )I just love the car to bits. So far its done 2000 miles on holiday as far south as Dunkirk and up into Belgium with around 1000 of that pulling a tonne and a half of tintent IMPECCABLY!! Its been so comfotable and quiet you hardly realise the speed you are going most of the time. (thank god for the overspeed warning when towing!! Whistle ) It handles brilliantly for a big car and even the fuel economy's FAR surpassed my expectations!!

It has to be the best all round car that ive owned to date though I have to admit it does beat my 5 series by the narrowest of margins!! (it copes with the tintent better).

HAving serious thoughts about the v8 for next time already!! Laughing although the new 3.0 will have been out long enough to have proved itself by then so who knows.

For now I'll just keep enjoying EVERY mile in it though. Off to Blair Atholl on Wed pulling the van again so the Scottish contigent have been warned!!! Rolling with laughter

Cheers for reading my addulating waffle

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

4WD - a couple of months and several thousand miles ahead of you in RRS ownership and I recognise and share most of your comments, it's proving to be a most excellent purchase. Very Happy

I'm struggling to find a single area that is even slightly disappointing (other than the suspension knocking...but that's another story Confused ).

Biggest concern before moving over was the fuel economy of the V8 - I'm averaging nearly 30mpg and have seen much higher on the dash display. Thumbs Up

If this is your 1sr LR welcome to the family & long may you remain a member.
