Operating Passenger Seat Blowing Fuse - RRS 09

Hi All,

1st post here... very nice forum!

Just picked up our 2009 RRS HSE last month and have been very happy with it besides small issues that are coming up. The most recent is the Passenger Seat fuse keeps blowing (replaced twice) when adjusting the back of the seat. The lumbar and base of the seat operation are fine. It has been working with no issues for about a month now and just started yesterday. Nothing is blocking the seat-back and I haven't done any electrical mods. Anyone else had this issue? Planning to call our dealer tomorrow morning but would love to see if anyone else has run into this.

Cheers,

-Ian

I suggest that you take a run into dealer and insist they check the seat controls and then ask for the whole seat to be replaced under warranty. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
