Total Height with Ski Rack

Hi All,

Anyone got the Landrover ski/board rack, and able to help me out?

Travelling to France in January for a week boarding. Have booked the apartment, which has underground parking facilities. I am trying to figure out the heights for the RR Sport, with Landrover roof rails / bars, with the ski/board rack attached.

Car park is quoted as "between 1.8 and 1.9m" - which I know is pretty vague.

Any ideas, with lowered suspension, whether it will fit as standard, with just rails, with rails and cross bars, with all plus the ski rack?

Ta in advance.

Mark

Sorry I won't be much help, but looking at the sun visor it gives height at lowest setting without any racks as 1.81m to the top of the media antenna

Mark,

I'd say that's too close to risk, especially if they have a steep approach or departure to the car park.

If you do risk it then make sure you lock the suspension in access mode by holding the button until the padlock is illuminated.

And if you are running on Snow and Ice tyres or winter tyres instead of the normal low profiles, then the 19" wheel sidewall is about 5 cms higher loosing you more clearance...................................... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Got the ski thing. I would say that it is adding about 15 to short of 20cm extra height to the car. Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

My experience of continental under appartment car parks in Chamonix and that was with a Jeep is that they usually have very steep entrance/exits and inside the head room is very tight. I had to remove my ski box to get the car in to the garage. I left the box off for the 2 weeks propped against a wall in my appartment. TDV6 - gone
