I also had a problem like that and the best way would be as ww told you to take it out and seal it in the way that they take out the screw and put a small piece of rubber in the inside of the tire and then press it under pressure where that rubber pcs is also heated so that it melts inside. I was told that after that kind of treatment(20-30 min) the tire is good as new. Hope it helps VA 2008 RRS TDV8 HSE, Java black, Alpaca,..... |

Agree with WW, but until you get unscrewed I would keep the speed down in case the screw decides to remove itself. The tyre repair folks will tell you if you need to replace or can repair the tyre. Make sure you are sitting down when they tell you how much a replacement tyres costs................................ a lot will depend on if it is in the middle of the treads or near the sidewall - if it's near the sidewall then you are looking at a new tyre 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I'd say as per TIS's post, if it is on the 'flat' face a tyre type can repair and you can reuse. if its near the corner/wall then you'll be looking at a new tyre. You could run with it as it as long as you don't do motorway speeds and do not mind the inconvenience of the problem worsening at the most inconvenient time....

yea if its close to the edge ... new tyre. If its in the middle and you dont want to fork out for a new one a decent tyre place should be able to repair it for ~£10.
