2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Mercedes-Benz hood emblem security system ?

My friend has a 09 MB E350 and someone took the emblem off hood overnight. I remember seeing a security/alarm system for this type of hood ornament/emblem in the US but can't remember where.
