I'm invited to visit the LME. Can I reach it with my RRS or do I have to take train, metro and other unloved tranportation?
Any advise how to tackle London and maybe a prefered parking with decent parking spaces?
Thanks in advance.
Pieter

You certainly wouldn't want to drive to Aldgate. You're welcome to park at the dealership and catch the tube from Park Royal (next door to us) which would take 30 mins or so. Only issue is that you would only be able to access your car again within our office hours.

I would always drive - plenty of carparks but they are not cheap. Do a Google for City of London Car parks. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

Driving and parking in the city is dead easy even for "non-locals" as us mate...
The only down side is the bill you get when you pick your car up Confused Last time I went, they charged me £30+ for 5 hours Twisted Evil

there used to be a few bomb site car parks just off of City Road, hang a left by the large Thomson building (on right just past large roundabout at Moorfield eye hospital. Reasonably priced compared to the undercover sites, and then its about a 15 minute walk. Around Scrutton street if i remember.

What a warm welcome at the Charles Hurst Park Royal Wink Thumbs Up

Many thanks for the good advise to tackle London. First of all, I saved a lot of time and also some £££. Thanks.
Btw the London Metal Exchange was a great experience to discover.

I don't like big cities but the people of London are so nice and as always with lots of British humor. I love you. Bow down
