Just had a $700 service (60K) at dealer + a new high pressure fuel pump and the car stopped dead @ 100km/h on the freeway driving home....on the inside lane overtaking with a supercharged Toyota Hilux up my clacker. Just managed to limp to a spot that was off the road. Towed back to stealers with Engine System Fault message

So fed up with this car!!!! RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

New fuel pump? What went wrong with it......

Is this the first problem you've had as I'm still waiting to pick mine up and all the bad news is making me twitch.



PS - Hope the operation to remove the Toymota from your clacker was painless Less is more, more or less

Sorry dangermouse, I wish. In the first year, the car spent 30% of it's life back getting warranty work done....and not minor stuff. Do a search on my posts. I was hoping that this was the last thing to be fixed.....

Check the JD Power auto dependability guide for the last few years, LR has been bottom or near to bottom for the last 4 years....sorry to depress you!  RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

No, my dealers have been generally ok Angel. Most of my problem have been component engineering issues. RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof
