You want to try driving at night in heavy fog, the light movement is nothing less than hypnotic!

Seems you do not need the adaptives to get the cornering lamps Thumbs Up

Just the same here in Italy.

Well, so they must be cornering lights, according to what most of you say.
Whee is this lamp located, though?
Just curious to see it.

The car is currently stored in the garage and I will use it next weekend, so I Will have the chance to find this only after that.
Maybe I will try in front of a huge mirrir, trying to to turn just into it... Mr. Green

ciao Gianluca,

Laughing

What model is your RRS? If you have Xenons (you'll easily be able to tell due to the crisp blue tinge of the lights), then you have cornering lamps. My earlier post was misleading - they don't only come with the adaptive lights, you get them as long as you have Xenons (which you will do if you have an SE or above).

Clear? Wink

Its the MY09 Stormer tdv6. Was told it was halogens in it but it DOES have the cornering lights. Thats what the salesman told me anyway and it does have the lights at the side that you spoke about. Thats why Im confused by it all. Worst bit is I dont pick it up for another week so I cant just go sit on the driveway and have a look. lol Oops I should have added that it does have the Clear View Pack fitted to it. Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

Ok gents, I got it.
Basically there are two additional halogen lights in the headlights which automatically turn on when you have lights on, the indicator on, and you are turning.

This is the bulb I am referring to.

Do you all have them?

Or is it just an HSE feature?

If anyone is still confused about what type of headlamps are fitted. i.e - Xenons or halogens. Lift the bonnet and have a look. On top of the headlamp unit there should be a label which will say if the light is Xenon or Halogen. Early models even have a warning label fitted because of the high voltage generated by the Xenon units.

...although the Kelvin gradation differences between both should be quite clear. My gallery: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=994
