Having a towbar and electrics fitted at Guy Salmon Portsmouth.

The loaner of the day for me is a Freelander 2 TD4 XS. It is a horrible car to drive. Worse than my 2006 Freelander Mk1. Driving position is terrible, steering is vague, Satnav screen is too dark to see - yuk! I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks.

Having driven a FL1 for quite a few months IMO the FL2 is alot better drive,

Was the satnav a OEM one as they normally only come with SE & HSE, but i now what you mean about it been dark, especially first thing in the morning, until the screen warms up, then its no different to any other I have seen, might have just needed adjusting Thumbs Up

I had an FL2 loaner TD4 and thought it was brilliant! If I needed a small 4x4 it would be top of my list over and above the horrible X3 and the cute but girly looking Q5. Maybe I should see if Mrs BKHK would like an FL2 although it would be a bit big for her. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

I've never heard of the steering being called vague on a Fl2, too sharp is the more usual comment. Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate
