England 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White
Chrome Lettering to be installed

Just received my Chrome lettering front and back and now have to instal it. They have provided a template and it all looks relatively straight forward as there is selfadhesive tape on the letters...however - how should I prepare the surface?

I was thinking a good t cut and polish then sit them on that but should I be doing anything else?

As always, the inspiration, guidance, advice and humour provided by the members of this forum is appreciated!!

Jonathan

PS - should I change my name to something cool or just leave it as Jonathan...poll anyone? Jaguar XKR Convertible

before sticking them on, as with anything adhesive going onto a vehicle always wipe down with alcohol. I personally use meths. This will remove any grease or surface residue left and ensure the sticky bits won't come off in the wash...

do not use paint thinners / cellulose thinners etc as this removes paint and lacquer etc.

I have used meths for over 30 years and never ever had a problem.
