Germany is the one place doing pretty well still....with this subsidy from the government for cars over 9 years being scrapped etc etc.... |

i also know a guy who got an 09 plate AMV8 plus the sexy wheels (which I think are £2k?) for £60k |

Good point - if I worried about residuals, I'd be driving a mini.....but Angel residuals aside, I'm sure, like the rest of us, you like to get a good deal when you can.... |

Doesn't matter how much money anyone has, it's always nice knowing you're getting something off on a car purchase, thats part of the thrill of buying a car I guess, that a deal can be done. Come to think of it, is there any new car these days where a deal can't be had? Anything from a Lambo to a Smart.....from a Maybach (huge discount!) to a Prius.... |

Nick there are still some dealers who have not realised the hard times. Especially, after they have introduced the governmental support for car sales in Slovakia (EUR 2000 if you scrap your old car), you can not get any discount on most of the new small cars (up to a value of around EUR 25K). Which is really silly
