One thing I haven't seen in any of the pictures, or in the one 2010My car I have seen................................... no improvement to the abysmal interior lighting in the back of the cabin. I don't seen any lights ABOVE the doors or on the C pillars in any of the pics in the brochures. Bad omission that LR, especially as we have been commenting on it since the 2005 launch! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

They will still have their tunnel vison glasses on and their hearing aids switched off Will. I have never been able to figure out why they put the rear courtesy lights in the bottom of the rear doors..................... I think somebody in Solihull was reading the drawings upside down on the first day of production and the rear doors have been produced like that ever since 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I may even lose my personality, start wearing gear from the 70's (and still think it looks good due to an obscure revival) and become follicly / mentally challenged to boot Whistle Whistle Wink L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

Cannot be bothered to read every post on this thread but in the 2010MY literature and on LR website I note that the 2010MY TDv8 now gets "standard" brakes - not Brembos but the same as TDV6. The only version now with "uprated" brakes is the S/C

TDv6 & TDv8 get 360mm Front discs and 350mm rears whereas S/C gets 380mm fronts and 365mm rears and there is no mention of Brembos anywhere, just "high performance" - maybe a good thing if the way my Brembo front calipers have lost their paint sheen and transfers is anything to go by. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

They are harmonising the product with Jaguar I would think. Jag did away with Brembos when they stopped making the steel Xk's. I should think that really Jags and LR's share nearly everything aside the bodyshells. The new 5.0ltr Jags have a great ediff now, which is sourced from the D3 technology. The engies are the same arcoss the marques, the gearboxes, satnav and driving technology........... 2010MY Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE

just bought a 2010 Sport and it really is miles ahead of my old one.

While I'm still not 100% on the front change the interior and the engine make all the difference. it really is a premium vehicle in line with the price (even with discount).

If you're going for one don't dream of doing it without the premium leather. makes all the difference.

can't wait !

anyone know the best / discounted place to get the add on accessories ? door and lamp guards etc? I'm sure the old stuff probably won't fit anymore so it'll have to be proper LR stuff.

cheers
Wo
