Not lightening fast....but every little helps with 2.5tonnes

Hi folks,

Got the RR sport remapped today by turbochip. These boys are pretty well renowned for their work so felt paying the extra ££'s was worth it in my opinion.

The lad (Trevor) turned up on time and after a delightful cup of chai made by yours truly he then set work to transform my bus, which in all fairness wasn't very slow, just slow.

Well after a full 5 minutes...he was done!!!

The test drive was almost as I was in a different car altogether. Firstly, pulling 2.5tonnes isn't the easy of jobs but kid you not I couldn't believe the new found torque and extra horses.

I've seen the dyno from another customers, it read 250bhp and 507lb/ft. From that it suggests 50bhp increase and 25% in torque!!

Not bad.....

What about smoke?
250 horse power is a lot, starting from 190...
Should be interesting to have a look at the charts of both power and torque, if you had them.
Price?

507 lb/ft is a lot of torque.
Maybe the dyno plot said 507 Nm??

I'd like to see the graph if it was 507 lb/ft.

Good luck

Agree with BigMart, 507lbft sounds a bit of a pipe dream although I stand to be corrected Thumbs Up Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Folks.....as per my post. It wasn't a dyno graph of my car but a customers they had worked on.

A dyno graph was emailed to me by turbochip...unfortunately for the love of I deleted it. If you insist, give them a call and ask for one.

As to the lbs/ft...I think you're right as they quote only in Nm. Thumbs Up
