Rear "Range Rover" strip removal??

Hi,
I bought a nice new powerful jet wash and its taken some of the paint of this trim.
Does anyone know how to remove it and how much a new 09 one in Java is likely to be??

I think the trim simply pulls off with a firm pull. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

you dont need to remove it to repaint it. if the body shop cant mask it up and repaint it in situ then they are not worth going to. painted mine this week and it was kept in place and the lettering reused. total cost £30!

if they attempt to mask it up in situ and not remove it id say then they are not worth going to!! Shocked

it simply pulls off

start at corner of boot lid and pull it firmly

it comes off really easy

mine was bonded and clipped so I didnt want to remove it and break anything. is simple doing it either way. most of the clips break when removing according to other threads so I did not want to chance it and it looks just as well.
