bloody feather dusters-beware!

after a hard day waxing yesterday i decided to feather dust down my gleaming black rrs to get rid of that awful dust,a BIG mistake, after doing the rear quater and drivers door i progressed to the front wing to be presented with a six inch scratch after dusting,to my amazement down the centre of the duster is a lovely sharp wire with the dusting birds bounded around it.....
the bodyshop are respraying on wednesday-£220.00
that will teach me to come up with bright ideas....! RRS-2.7hse overfinch engine upgrade-java black-ivory leather-22"overfinch supersports-hst bodykit-colour coded handles-side steps-09 clear rear lights and indicators-chrome wing mirrors-piano black interior and ivory overfich speedo dials.

Shocked could it not be polished out, instead of a respray Question

Surely it wouldn't be that deep, as i presume you was just running the duster over it lightly, but if it was razor sharp, it could have sliced into the paintwork

good indications is if you can feel the scratch with your finger nail it will be too deep

Seen it with my own eyes

I saw Mark's RRS on Sunday. What a pucker motor, 100% mint. So I can only imagine how he felt. The scratch was well deep. Don't worry I am sure it will be back to its former glory by the end of play today. Just the wallet a little lighter. See them feather dusters are dangerous weapons in the wrong hands, that why I Never Touch one. Never.. Steve John Taylor
