From an article I have just read about LR's 2005 sales, they sold 185,120 cars in 2005 (an increase in 14%). Of this, 48,777 vehicles were sold in the UK. The USA saw a 30% increase, Russia 67% and China 105%.
Therefore, if LR is making 185,120 cars, then this means they are making 508 cars per day (assuming the factury is running 24x7). Am I right in thinking Land Rover only have the Solihull factory? I'm very suprised that a single site can make that many vehicles per day.
They also sold 30,356 Range Rover Sports worldwide in SIX months !!! Matt

RRS ownership for 1 yr, then D3 for 2 yrs. Then cut back to old bangers and working my way back up through two Peugeots in 6 months. Now got Saab 9-5 2.3t and enjoying the performance!
