United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue
Paid my deposit today

Hopefully I made the right decision, after some debate with my other half, I have decided to get:

RRS TDV6 HSE
Buckingham Blue
Ivory with black carpets & dark zebrano trim
Sunroof
Premium ICE System
TPMS System
Roof rails
Towpack
Side steps
carpet mats
mudflaps all round

Deposit paid, fingers x'ed that dealer doesn't go under - and that JLR keep the factory open, if so she'll arrive late March.

Finally I can drive around without being referred to as a c*ck and ditch my A5. However I will now need a suitable plan to avoid becoming a victim of the eco-mentalists!

I should think it's late March because this is a factory build because of the sunroof. There will be very few if any sitting in Dealers with the sunroof option.

We sun worshippers are few and far between it seems in the world of the RRS. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

I like all this "Audi = c*ck" you got there in Great Britain! Mr. Green

Here in Swizerland it's much more permissive, you're a c*ck with a Hummer, or a Viper, MINIMUM! Very Happy

Great choice BTW! Thumbs Up

It has arrived

Hello,

Well, after nearly 3 months of waiting I picked her up last Monday, very nice machine indeed.

Sunroof is fantastic (never had a sunroof before) and it makes such a difference being up high, also I have an Ivory interior - had black in every other car I have ever had, everything is so LIGHT

Some minor questions:

The price list says that it has 'Waterfall' lighting - my dealer thinks this is the airline style fade out when you lock - I say it is the submarine like LED's that I had in my Audi which make everything RED. (I was expecting green in the RR?) Where is it?

The seat moves when I take the key out - to give me more room to get out the car - it moves back to my stored position when I put it back in - how do I stop this from happening! I am not a fat bastard and get get out fine without any help from LR.

Tomorrow i'll be testing the terrain response in a field.

Will post some pics after a pressure wash on Saturday - Buckingham Blue was definitely a good choice, though I am going back to the dealer for retro fit privacy glass!

Nice one fairwx Thumbs Up

The waterfall lighting "cascades" down across the centre console, finishing where the storage compartment and cigar lighter are. So next time you see your salesman you can tell him you know more about the car than he does Wink
