Kam,

Don't worry about damage - if you follow both Brian's and the other guys instructions you will be fine - no one has reported any damage to my knowledge, the only grief has been the level of dirt!!!
My caution is only around wheels etc as I don't want any scratches however minor - or put another way, I don't want to provide any excuse for the dealer to wriggle on the Part Ex price quotted!!!!

Still very much up for the factory visit though, after the first week in April would be good for me, that way I get to show off the new toy Laughing Wink

Yes, I think a joint visit is a good idea - although not sure if you RRS boys want to hang out with the D3 ruffians Wink Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

Could we get them to wear something to identify them as undesirables or will their smell be sufficient? Wink 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Details of Trip!!

Right guys, ball is now rolling!!
Just spoken to Nicky at LR Experience and this is what they are offering at present:

Dates Available:

15th, 22nd, 31st March.
10th, 11th, 19th, 21st April.

They require 4 weeks in advance notice and on looking at the dates i am thinking 31st March, as then its not too far away? general consens required please..

Prices:
Gold, they take a max of 36 people on any one booking, prices are as follows:

0-9 people = £170 pp
9-18 people = £140pp
18-36 people = £120pp

Unfortunately, due to people not turning up before and ruining entire days etc, LR require full payment in advance, i.e. cheque from each individual person. If we could have all payments sent to me via cheque (payable to Land Rover experience) then once i have all the money i can drop it down to Nicky at LR and can tick each person off the list as and when i get the payments.

Right then, thats the ground work done, i think if we aim for 20 people between rrsport.co.uk and disco3.co.uk on an agreed date, we should have a very good day out!

Lets be having you then??!
Names please....

N.B: No photography allowed within factory units, but is allowed near experience building and the off road course, so cameras welcome.
Full length trousers and fully enclosed shoes are mandatory.

Lunch is provided, they can cater for ALL dietary requirements, Vegetarians etc, and need 3 weeks notice for this to be arranged, they can also ensure no allergenics are placed into the ingredients if they are made aware of this in advance.

Might run this past the wife... she quite likes her cars and I think it might pass the sadness test given there's actually something to see and do as opposed to just turning up and looking at each others cars.

Kam, if wife comes will probably also need to bring the littl'un - are LR OK with toddlers included in the party do you know?

Sorry Guys, just asked Nicky, Health & Safety Rules dictate that the age limit for the whole site is 10 years old, so unfortunately you will have to find baby sitters for the day.

Cheques should also be made payable to Land Rover.

So if we be nice and push to let VA make it, what would the thinking be for 22nd March? Would be nice and soon and we have enough time to get this arranged. Will get this onto the disco3 forum as well once we have a date set. Either way looks like a day off work!

Would rather the later April dates, the 31st is the provisional due date of the new arrival!!!

I imagine that Mrs ST would also be interested.

And as our top man Martin does such a fantastic job at running the two sites I think it would only be fair that we all chipped in £5/£10 to make sure he could also come along Currently: Carbon Black 535d
