Can not provide any specific information but I remember that we wanted once to franchise a McDonalds (as one of the first in SK) and the conditions were f Censored hell (limiting your other activities). So we rather have not gone that way...
Sorry but can not provide any other input on this...

I owned and operated Chem-Dry franchises from 1993 to 2001, it worked well , and I sold out for a good price.
I bought them as a way of learning best practice in running a small business, with the intention of going solo eventually which I have done , I think it is a bit of a gamble going in at the ground floor as I did , I just got lucky that I was with a good concept , some are dire, and people have lost fortunes. One of the large established companies mean that you are very likely to suceed, however the entry costs can be high.

If I was starting now , I would go for Rainbow, or dominos pizza, putting in about 50k, no franchise can be properly set up for less than about 30k. 08 HSE,5%TINTS, Factory tow bar, brum ,brum

Have a look on this site, its mostly on buy to let but do a search on franchises. I've read quite a few posts on running Dominos and Subway franchises.

It's interesting that locally the Bella Pasta franchisee had to shut up shop yet the Domino's is doing such good trade they have opened a 2nd outlet in Stirling! Apparrently now we have no savings and people are not eating at expensive restaurants most fast food places (except Pasta restaurants!) are doing more business than they have done in years. I don't believe it would be a good investment to take on a Hester Blomenthal "Fat Duck" franchise (if there were such a thing!) at the moment either! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
