New RRS owner in town

Hello to everybody

I'm in the middle of a difficult decision

RRS vs Disco3

Both TDV6

The decision is tough since the price difference for me is not that big.

I like offroading and that's my problem since RRS doesn't fit well in my mind in mud color!!
D3 in my mind is best fitted for offroading but my wife doesn't like at all the squarish look
I definitely like the looks of RRS and the size fits the family needs (2 kids)

I hope I can make the right decision soon

Diamond

After a lot of discussion, the decision finally was made in favor of a new RRS 2.7TDV6 SE.
The color is Alaska White and the interior is almond.
The order has been made and the delivery date will be sometime in May.

So on paper I have a new car but I have to wait 3 months 2009 Range Rover Sport 2.7 TDV6 SE, Alaska White, Almond leather, tinted windows, active rear diff, tow pack, HiICE, full spare: gone and already missed

Yes the extras are:

Privacy glass
Active rear differential (since I can't stop my offroading adventures Cool )
Tow Pack
Full size spare wheel (I can't think of myself stuck in a rocky mountain with a temporary spare wheel)

I would also like to have black alloys but I couldn't find any in 19' in LR catalog. 2009 Range Rover Sport 2.7 TDV6 SE, Alaska White, Almond leather, tinted windows, active rear diff, tow pack, HiICE, full spare: gone and already missed

Cost - benefit analysis

I was started with D3 SE and then went up to RRS SE (that was +5000€). If I wanted to go further up that would meant 4500€ more while the extras were more of the premium side (better leather, audio, and electric comforts) which I really didn't want.

So the decision made in favor of the SE and the spare money will go for something else 2009 Range Rover Sport 2.7 TDV6 SE, Alaska White, Almond leather, tinted windows, active rear diff, tow pack, HiICE, full spare: gone and already missed

Greece 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Alaska White

Got a demo RRS TDV6 this weekend and had the chance to see how the car is behaving in different roads (not offroadthough Sad )

My impression was that it was slightly quicker than the D3 but a little bit more harder over bumps. I liked the way it handles turns in mountain roads. In autobahns you need to push it hard and in sport mode to have a descent acceleration.

other than that as you may imagine I'm already in love with it but I have to wait till May for MY car. 2009 Range Rover Sport 2.7 TDV6 SE, Alaska White, Almond leather, tinted windows, active rear diff, tow pack, HiICE, full spare: gone and already missed

I got the chassis number and the delivery date will be (finger crossed) 11th of May. PDI will be done in Factory (UK) and then the car will be delivered to me in Germany by the LR rep.

Do I have to look something special during the acceptance of the car except the basics (obvious scratches, extras etc)
