MOR, you are very lucky down there to be able to just drive off the tar and onto lanes like that, up here they lock you up for doing things like that - doesn't matter if you are on a mountainbike or in a 4x4, if you don't have the permission of the land owner you cannot go there! There are only 2 public rights of way in Scotland, away from the tar and both are also historic monuments so not only do they lock you up, you have to pay to make good any damage you have done! At least Forest Enterprise look favourably on 4x4 owners and after going for an interveiw and filling in reams of paperwork and doing a 100 risk assessments the local forest management might let you into the woods! It's all pay and play up here for 4x4's 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
