The reason I'm asking is that I 've ordered the car with Almond/nutmeg/walnut but I have only seen the Alpaca and the Ebony leather. So I'm trying from different pictures to understand the difference in colors.

I've been told that Almond is a little more darker than Ebony but probably lighter than alpaca.

Once more it looks beautiful.

Now that you have a 2009 model what are the differences with the previous one? 2009 Range Rover Sport 2.7 TDV6 SE, Alaska White, Almond leather, tinted windows, active rear diff, tow pack, HiICE, full spare: gone and already missed

I didn't get around to taking the pictures today, I will do it tomorrow. One difference I have noticed with the 09 car is that the boot is now trimmed in (not very practical) light coloured carpet to match the Almond uphostery. I believe in earlier models, the boot carpet was always black regardless of trim colour. In fact, all my carpets are light coloured, front and rear foot wells included. That may always have been the case but I think that the matching boot carpet is a new for 09 thing??

I will add a boot picture to my list for tomorrow.

When you say "replacement" for your Stornoway model ...... did you have a problem with the original one? I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks.

Yes Mercury, I did. The car was new in May 2008. A steering vibration which I thought was a wheel balance turned into a steering rack, 5 new tyres and a rear differential replacement all under warranty. The driver's seat moved a little and took 2 attempts to fix. I also had some peeling paint on a tailgate trim. I live quite a way from the dealer and 10% of the car's mileage was driving to and from the dealer (10,000km and 8 months old)

After the new tyres and rear diff replacement I did not acceot the car back. I told LR that the car would qualify legally as a lemon under proposed laws (not yet enacted) and that I would like a replacement. After quite some negotiation, they agreed and for a small token payment, I got the new 2009 RRS you see in the pictures.
