NEW RR SPORT THIS FRIDAY ADVISE PLEASE

Hi this is my first post here, I am picking up a new RR Sport on Friday and can't wait. I was surprised zambesi silver has been dropped in favour of zermatt but hey ho.
I was lucky to find a stock car to buy with no wait.
Has anyone had the plastic sills etc body coloured? I am thinking about it, also any one had a chip or filter fitted to a TD6 and if so what do you think and any issues with L/R dealers on warranty?
Thanks Laughing Michael

Plenty of threads on here regarding chipping!! Read away. It does make a real difference though, to me makes the TDV6 what it should have been in the 1st place. HSE TD6 (Java Black/Ivory)

The pics above were sourced by me, they were at Guy Salmon in Coventry. Your dealer should be able to colour code items for you, some dealers seem more willing than others, they will farm it out to their local bodyshop anyway. It may therefore be cheaper to get it done after you get the car.

Interesting to see your comment about Zambezi as against Zermatt. Last time I was in my dealership I compared the two colours and could see no difference. (I was not using a colour swatch in a book, it was a fully painted panel)

I had my wing mirrors done only, as I like the floating roof look with the dark privacy glass.

There are simply TONNES of posts about chipping the TDV6 here and also on the D3 site.

Do a search for chipping and you'll have lots to read. L319 D4 HSE

Hi Robbi
Anychance you could email the pics of the silver RRS to me as I cannot get them to print full size and I want to show them to the paint shop to get my car done.
Thanks Michael

Michael997 you are better off sending a PM to RRUK as he took the photos and will probably have the originals in a large format.
