I would be surprised however if that is the case I wonder if it would be for FFRR to differentiate it further from RRS Question Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

4.4 TDV8. Being built in Chihuahua, Mexico, for the American market. Was destined for Land Rover until Tata took over.....

I rather suspect that the 4.4 diesel will be "destined" for the F-Series Ford truck (if it remains in production) not any other truck! Laughing

It will be produced - and it was destined for the FF amonst other vehicles

Obviously the Tata takeover changed things. Which doesn't mean it won't happen.... A D3 not in drag....

2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

if they could have they would have kept producing the 3.6 TDV8 as it is a close to perfect engine. Some emissions nonsense means they have to stop. The new TDV8 doesn't fit in the Sport but this is total Censored they just want to sell more TDV6's...... *cough* JAMES *cough*

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

The 3.6 "didn't fit" the RRS when it came out, it was on sale in the FFRR for over a year before RRS got it. I suspect it is being saved for the RRS upgrade when it moves to the next generation FFRR's platform from the Disco's T5 platform. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

When the RRS is replaced around 2013 it will share more with the FFRR than the Discovery. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.
