Vibration from steering colum when engine is swithed off

Hi guys,
I test drove a RRS HSE TD for the second time and although the drive was as good as the first test, I noticed that when I turned the engine off there was a slight but noticeable shudder through the steering colum. I know these are desiel engines but it did remind me of an old Escort van that I used to drive Laughing . Has anyone else exprienced this? Is it a the norm?

Thanks Not got one yet, but will have one soon!!

I have done a lot of test driving of HSE Diesel's over the last few weeks - definately not the norm! also not a problem on the D3 Diesel....

Either the car has a blossoming steering fault or you had the DT's from a heavy session from the night before Laughing !!!! Currently: Carbon Black 535d
RIP: RRSTDV6 HSE & DISCO3 HSE
